McCarren Property Partners is privately owned and run by the people who put their own capital and reputation into every project.
Founder
William McCarren
William founded McCarren Property Partners to invest in and develop quality property in the Western Cape with a long-term, owner-operator mindset.
He is also co-founder and President of FARO, a South African fashion retailer that has opened 20 stores in two years. Leading that rollout has meant negotiating and closing leases with the country's largest listed landlords, including Growthpoint, Redefine and Resilient, and building a working understanding of how institutional property owners assess sites, tenants and returns. He brings that landlord-side perspective directly to McCarren's acquisitions and developments.
Head of Development
Georgette Cranswick
Georgette leads development at McCarren Property Partners, running each project from site appraisal and feasibility through design, planning, construction and handover.
Before joining the firm Georgette managed the development of renovations, project delivery and interiors for the Tintswalo Property Group in Cape Town, working on Constantia Edge, Summer Terraces in Glencairn, the Tintswalo Summer House and Watsonia Village in Sandown. Summer Terraces in particular shaped McCarren's strategic focus on the southern side of the Western Cape.
Georgette also brings an established network of agents and consultants across the region, giving the firm early sight of opportunities and the relationships to deliver them well.
